Research of the Computational Social Science (COSS) group aims to bring modeling and computer simulation of techno-socio-economic processes and phenomena together with related empirical, experimental, and data-driven work, combined with perspectives of different scientific disciplines (e.g. social, data, computational and complexity science). The research focuses on topics of: finance, systemic risk and resilience, smart cities, vehicle traffic, social coordination, cooperation, norms, and conflicts, collective opinion formation, the wisdom of crowds, digital democracy.
