SoBigData is the European Research Infrastructure for Big Data and Social Mining.
From data to knowledge, investigating stories ethically, paying attention to citizens privacy.


 
SoBigData covers different thematic research environments, called exploratories. In SoBigData, researchers do analyses and use innovative methodologies in the exploratories:
smart cities, human mobility behavior analysis
poverty indicators, spatial analysis
text and social network analysis
macroscopic human flows, social behavior analysis
training indicators, performance predictors

A Resource Catalogue allows access to the all SoBigData online resources. Scientists can register to discover resources and opening discussion threads. SoBigData covers six thematic areas: text and social mining, web analytics, visual analytics, social network, human mobility and social data analysis. Every resource is described by metadata and is ready to be downloaded or executed on the SoBigData Lab (cloud engine).
